The Mohawks like most other Native American tribes did not document things like other civilizations. But their cultures and customs and revealed by the author in amazing fashion.

It was an absolutely delightful and informative read of an honorable bygone era/5(6). Good Overview of Mohawk & related eastern tribes I wanted to learn some basic information about the Mohawk indians and this book delivered a good basic introduction.

I had hoped for more native Mohawk mythology, but that seems harder to find. However this book did touch on some beliefs and gave me a bit of native story/5.
